About
Regazzacci Clothing
Regazzacci clothing is psychedelic, uplifting and creative. Crazy
textiles and sexy flattering cuts are the labels signature style.
Regazzacci
clothing has an air of 1960’s psychedelia about it, and
incorporates rich textiles, tropical prints and ethnic weaves.
Confident colour and strong fabric selection are key aspects of
the Regazzacci label. Since the fabrics are so exciting, shapes
are kept simple and easy to wear.
Regazzacci
specializes in colourful fashion, beachwear and clubwear. Outfits
suggest a feeling of summer all year round. They take you to a
tropical beach bar, give you a cocktail and bring the sun out.
Garments
are comfortable and most items are made of stretch fabrics. Each
item is designed and hand made individually here in the UK. Regazzacci
does not mass produce. This makes the label highly exclusive,
which is of paramount importance both to the customer and designer.

Designer
Karina Regazzacci aged 29, had a passion for vibrant colour and
texture from an early age. Always sketching in fluorescent tones
and intrigued by art, she went lived in Morocco as a child with
her family during the 80s. Here she invariably cultivated her
love of textiles and fascination of all things ethnic. Born to
a half Dutch half English mother, and a Corsican father Karina
has spent much of her time in Corsica soaking up the heat and
Mediterranean ambiance. A lover of beach life, Karina says her
inspiration comes from wonders of nature, travel and music.
She
completed her BTEC Art foundation gaining a distinction grade at
the Maidenhead college of Art and design. Karina went on to graduate
with a 1st in her main study from Central Saint Martins with a BA
hons in Fashion Design which included a minor in Marketing. During
this period she did placements with Zandra Rhodes, Clements Ribeiro
and Rubber Zoo.
During this period, Karina spent much time working in vintage clothing
shops and living around Camden Town. This fuelled her interest for
alternative fashion and meant that the natural progression upon
graduation in 2002, was to start up her fashion label and shop.
Her incredible determination and ambitious nature made this possible.

No
longer feeling that Camden was the place to be, Karina decided
in 2006 to pursue a fresh direction. She closed the shop and
launched her online boutique www.coconut-hut.co.uk
as a sideline project.
Karina
did a string of photoshoots and in 2007 performed a highly successful
catwalk show during S/S London fashion Week. Hosted by the Playtime
Customised team at Cafe de Paris, psychedelic dresses wooed
the crowd and showed that this is just the begining for Regazzacci
Clothing.
Meanwhile,
Karina's parallel running business Coconut Hut Boutique underwent
a substancial boom. Statistics show a massive growth in sales
from one month to the next. Coconut Hut Boutique has since become
Karina's main business, not the sideline project it once was.
Consequently, Regazzacci Clothing has not been the main focus
in recent months but we are working hard to get some long awaited
new material out soon!
Karina
also undertakes various fashion and costume freelance work.
A creative who is self taught in many things, Karina also does
all her own web and graphic design. She says this is the key
to her online success.
